Juandros (Jun) is a composer, koto player and visual artist. His strong passion for discovering the possibility of koto, he acts as solo performer, traditional Japanese ensemble, improvisational ensemble, jazz fusion band and contemporary classical player. This unique experience developed his non-traditional playing style of koto to adapt in the role of different music ensemble and genre of music.
As a multimedia performer, he uses koto with effect processor and Max/msp for the interactive sound and 3D graphic visual projection.
He achieved the largest song writing awards of U.S. from International Songwriting competition in 2019, John Lennon Song Writing Contest in 2013, also film awards from Raindance Film Festival in 2014, and joined the award wining project of Monaco International Film Festival in 2015. In 2016, his first directing/editing/composing/art directing multimedia film piece has been awarded from NYC Independent film festival.
